Gene Nery teams with Christopher Peacock to create an energetic alchemy of acoustic guitar and piano. This album will take you to exotic places, from playing on Condado Beach and viewing the Orcas Moon, to romancing in Venezia and stepping out into London Nights. Added Fluegelhorn, strings, and percussion will make this album a destination you will want to return to.
Through our lives, we will experience many places for which we are destined. Our destiny is often uncontrollable, but as the TRADE WINDS appear, we have the ability to raise a sail, catch the breeze, and work in harmony with what exists to help guide our direction. What’s important is that we spend the PASSING TIME enjoying the ride.
As our journeys take us to exotic places – playing on CONDADO BEACH on a warm Caribbean day, viewing the ORCAS MOON rising over the Pacific Northwest island, romancing in VENEZIA on the grand canal, or stepping out to enjoy the LONDON NIGHTS – we must remember that as we come and go, our PASSAGES will touch others lives, and what to us may only be a brief visit, will remain to others, home.
Our own LETTERS FROM HOME will draw us to look inside ourselves and hear that single voice within our soul, to arrive HOME AGAIN and realize our true DESTINATION is the gift of being, and to share that joyous gift should be our goal.
